EP.7 - Sam Mutimer, CEO of TTS - The Journey To Becoming A Maker Of Kings
It might sound like a made-up story, yet in 2007 an extreme slide tackle in an English National rugby game snapped Sam’s leg in two. Closely followed by a homemade YouTube video calling brands to leverage her new leg cast and bid for advertising space for a slot. The video went viral and earned over 27,000 views. Sam Mutimer has never regarded difficulty as a barrier to success. In fact, she relishes the challenge.
Trusted to advise on all things digital, as Social Media resident for Channel 7, The Financial Review, The Age and The Herald Sun, Sam has gained popularity as an expert, speaking at corporate events for top tier brands in Australia, England, Germany and South Africa. Her energy is infectious, her advice is sound, authentic and achievable.
As CEO of TTS, Sam has built her business over the last 11 years off the back of mistakes, learning curves and challenges inherently unique to working with technology in a constant state of flux: pivoting is necessary, refocusing is critical.
This is why Sam is so trusted by brands, athletes, CEO’s and corporates from myriad industries because she always finds an opportunity in a challenge.
Permanently guided by the ‘why’ Sam grows the narratives of brands through education, strategy, creativity, and partnerships and reminds everyone she meets that if you really want something bad enough, you’ll always find a way to make it happen.

Today’s episode features one of the most passionate, impactful & successful coaches in the World - Mike Way.
Mike is currently the Head Coach of the Men’s & Women’s Squash team at Harvard University.
Mike has held this prestigious role for 10 years and has lead his players in achieving some incredible results. Most recently with The Crimson completing its fifth straight undefeated season en route to its sixth consecutive National Championship trophy, & improving its CSA winning streak record to an outstanding 83 matches.
Prior to his coaching journey at Harvard, Mike was based in Toronto where he headed up the National Squash program and coached former World Champion Jonathan Power and other Canadian Greats in Graham Ryding, Shahier Razik, Marnie Ryding, Melanie Jans and many more.
His influence on the sport goes deeper than the results produced by his players. The influence he has on the athletes off the court is also prevalent and arguably his most impressive part of the ongoing legacy he is creating.
